Haere mai ki tō tātou ao: Your space to connect

At Beautifully Broken NZ, this blog is where our hearts meet yours. It's a place to kōrero, to share our journey, and to truly understand what matters to you. We'll explore the highs and lows of creating mental health support products, the realities of starting a small business, and the very human experience of navigating mental health. Join us, tell us what you're feeling, what you need, and let's grow this community together. We're so glad you're here.

DAY 2

Hello everyone! I’m thrilled—day one is here! I launched the website yesterday, and expect some hiccups. If anything doesn’t work, just email me. I’m a grandma doing my best to help!

Everything I do comes from love, honesty, and integrity. I want the best for New Zealand. Our country faces serious school bullying, leading to anxiety, depression, and trauma. We need change, which is why you’ll find blogs, videos, and products addressing it.

Explore the website, and if you have suggestions or questions, I’m all ears—my email is everywhere! You’ll find me on TikTok and Facebook—I’m out there! Have an amazing day, and remember: you matter.

Good Morning Beautiful Souls

My heart goes out to those across the North Island affected by the severe weather. For anyone facing flooding, damage, or uncertainty today, we’re thinking of you.

Sending you strength, compassion, and love.

Storms shake more than houses; they disrupt routines and security. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, know you’re not alone. Community and kindness matter, even small gestures.

I’m working quietly on Beautifully Broken NZ—planning posts, sourcing new stock, and growing this space to genuinely help people feel better.

The vision is simple:

A place filled with things that lift us.

Diaries for our thoughts.

Books that make us feel understood.

Bath soaks to calm us.

Cozy socks, nail care, and little rituals.

Everyday comforts reminding us to slow down and care for ourselves.

This website isn’t just about products—it’s about feeling good again. However that looks for you.

If something helps you reset or uplift, I’d love to hear about it. We’re building this space together.

📩 Send me your ideas anytime.

Be gentle with yourself today.

Check on someone if you can.

And remember—the skies do clear after the heaviest storms.

With warmth,

Tina

🌸 Today’s Reminder: You Are Allowed to Begin Again

Good morning beautiful souls,

Wherever you’re reading this from today — whether you woke up feeling strong, tired, overwhelmed, hopeful, or somewhere in between — I want you to know something important:

You are allowed to begin again.

Not just at the start of the year.

Not just on Mondays.

Not just after something dramatic happens.

Any day.

Even today.

Sometimes we wake up carrying yesterday’s thoughts. The things we didn’t finish. The conversations that sat heavy. The worries that followed us into sleep. And if we’re not careful, we let yesterday decide who we are today.

But healing doesn’t work like that.

Growth doesn’t work like that.

Every sunrise gives us a quiet opportunity to reset. To soften. To try again in small ways. Maybe today that means drinking a glass of water before coffee. Maybe it means answering one email. Maybe it means stepping outside and taking three deep breaths before the world rushes in.

Small shifts are still shifts.

I’ve learned that healing isn’t always loud or dramatic. Most of the time, it’s quiet and consistent. It’s choosing to be kinder to yourself than you were yesterday. It’s recognising when you’re tired instead of pushing through. It’s writing the hard things down instead of letting them sit inside you.

And if you’re in a season that feels heavy right now — please remember this: heavy doesn’t mean broken.

It means you’re carrying something.

And that means you’re human.

Today, I’m focusing on building things that help us feel good. Journals. Words. Little reminders. Simple comforts. Because I truly believe feeling better doesn’t have to come from giant life changes. Sometimes it comes from a pen, a quiet space, and permission to be honest.

If you need a starting point today, try this:

✨ What is one thing I can do in the next hour that supports my wellbeing?

Keep it simple. Keep it kind.

You don’t have to fix your whole life before lunch.

You just have to take the next gentle step.

Sending you strength, softness, and steady courage today.

Remember — broken crayons still colour.

With love,

Tina 💜
